Thread: QUOTE REQUIRED: Build me some boxes - Melbourne Only

Hi Guys,

I have a requirement to get 16 metal boxes made to house an electronic device we are rolling out to remote sites.

I have attached pictures of the prototype we built to guve you an idea of what I am looking for.

Our prototype is made from mild steel but since it will be subjected to the weather I am thinking that stainless would be a better option.

The lip you see on the prototype is not required and the lid will be the same size as the main box with rolled sides to form a seal between the lid and the box itself (hard to describe).

The dimensions of the box are:

Outside of Box: 255mm W x 255mm H x 55mm D
Outside of Lid: 255mm W x 255mm H x 15mm D

There is a backing plate that is to be attached to the inside of the box with screws that attach to nuts that have been welded into the box.

So there you have it. I am looking for a fabricator in Melbourne to help me build these.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who is up to the task or referrals for people who are.
