Rambaudi V2 vertical milling head
Hi I've recently joined this forum. I have a Rambaudi vertical milling head which I have grafted onto a Tom Senior M1 miller. I recently partially stripped the vertical head as l want to fit a DRO to the quill. I assumed the head was oil lubricated but have found that the top back gear gearbox and the power feed box on the side of the head are simply grease lubricated. Could anybody tell me if this right. What makes me ask is that there is a drain plug on the bottom of the power feed box but to conflict with this none of the side covers have oil seals Hopefully somebody can help.
