Thread: What one can do with scrap metal....

It looks to me like that was made from a lot of useful stuff!
I couldn't make a table like that because it wouldn't be long and I would work out that that is the exact size spanner I need for that Whitworth nut and so I would be attacking the table with grinders, cold chisels and a plasma cutter to salvage it! It does look neat though.

Either big spring washers or a small horse
I wonder what it weighs?

Yes its really very nice and I'm quite sure that someone, probably female would like to be the proud possessor of that table !
But I must confess that before I could build one of those I would be going through the pile of bits and saying to myself, I need that, that might be useful and suddenly the pile of bits would have become very small. You see I understand why my wife describes me to others as "a squirrel"
