Did we get any agreement on what would be the most popular date? Marko is fine any time in Sept / Oct. I'm trying to stay out of that decision, because some one all ways misses out. I probably don't want it in the last weekend of October. There's a significant birthday in the family.
In other news, I've rounded up enough carbide tips.
Regards. Phil.

How about Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th October? By my best reasoning that seems to suit most, with the exception of Bob Ward. Can any one else see a date that suits every one? Anything into November gets curly, you start getting work Christmas things.
I've done a head count. Here's a list by handle, and name if I know it. I count 21.
snapatap / Ash
WCD
wbleeker
dave4
BobL
Simplicity
scottyd
Azzrock / Aaron
steamingbill / Bill
Ueee / Ewan
Cueball / Quentin
Bob Ward
C 46 / Alan E
pippin88
vwcamper74 / Mark.
rascal / John
DSEL 74
jmebgo / Joe
Greg S
Steve C
Pete F
Some of those aren't in this thread, the last hand full have either written to me before, because they have seen the first two classes mentioned. I might have a few more up my sleeve.
We are bound to lose a few due to timing and work commitments. But I cant handle 21 in here at once. There's an option of doing 2 weekends, a week or fortnight apart. 10 or a dozen blokes makes for a productive weekend. If we go two weekends, we have room for a few more blokes the haven't put their hand up yet.
Regards Phil.

If it's split into two I don't mind going into one or the other, my calendar around then is free, with the exception of the 1st-2nd of November (I said I was free in the PM, but I'd forgotten something was on).
Thanks,
Joe

I've taken that into account, its your daughters and your birthday's. I have half that problem with the last weekend of October. I do take all that on board. I was kind of hoping some one would pop up, as a sub committee, or natural organiser, and pick a date.
Regardless. I'll pick it up and run with it. I've just been a little bit torn, finding a date to suit every one. That date just doesn't exist. So I feel sorry for Bob. I have a thing for Bob's in this class, thanks to B.T And why I'm angling at two weekends. That shouldn't exist in this country.
Richard King, is having problems pulling off one class in B.C Canada. My prediction is that there wont be enough prepared to go over the border.
Good news is 95% of you have passports, and better news is you dont need one for here. How ever I'd like to see a Kiwi attend, that would make my year.
Regards Phil.

First two weeks of October are school holidays across WA and Vic which makes using FF points tough.
But I can't do anything until firm dates are decided..

October is fine with me
Hello,
I am currently fine with any weekend in October.
Will be off the beaten track from now until 12 July so may not respond to any posts for a while.
Will respond to this thread again in mid July.

Free to good home - if figured there might be some scrapers lurking on this thread )

I've managed to pick up a Biax so I don't need my "Bunnix" scraper anymore. It comes with a holder for a carbide insert but doesn't come with the carbide. Phil should be able to help you in that department.
The stroke is a bit long for scraping but if someone wants something to play around with or butcher, its yours. PM me if you're interested. I'll prioritize the Victorians as i'd rather not have the hassle of postage.

I would love to say yes Christian
But if some one would need it more than me
I would want them to receive it over me
