Setup for grinding small annular cutters.
SAM_0709.jpgSAM_0710.jpgSAM_0711.jpgHello again.
Small cutters are hard to regrind. With little space between the flutes the wheel has to be dressed up fresh with the diamond only advanced a thou each pass to preserve the wheel edge. I use an edge angle of 15 deg each side to make it easier and if necessary adjust the index finger to just above center height. This morning there are a dozen cutters to do so I'm starting with the smallest and working up in size.
regards
BC
