Congrads Quentin, you have some cleaning up to do, but thats pretty normal for a shaper.

    Stu,

Can you see images or only a link? Originally there were images but when I edited the post they disappeared.

    Hi BT,
Just the links ATM, the pictures in other threads come and go, I assume its something to do with the update and that it will sort itself out soon enough.

Hi, I can open the photo's but when I close them using the picture X it shuts down everything (Woodwork Forum and internet browser). I have to use the <- left go back arrow to exit the picture. Bugs?

    Hi Ben,
Its just currently opening the link in current window. If you right click the link and "open in new window" it will be back to "normal"
Something else that will either fix itself or we'll need to edit our settings when we can get to them. I'm sure they are working on it

Cant say I like the new colors lol

I'd seen pictures of Varnamos but when I saw Ray's in person it struck me as compact and streamlined - for a shaper. Really nice proportions. It's so easy to make ugly things - it kind of happens on its own. To make beautiful things takes talent and effort.

It made it back to here O.K. Its not 10 feet from where I'm sitting. I figure it goes at least 1.5t. I took a bit of driving to pull it.

    Shaper 003.jpg

With a lot of elbow grease, it will clean up O.K. I cant find a score or nick in it any place.

    Phil.

    Couple of other pictures here.

    Hi,

    Nice shaper and nice trailer.
I'm sure all the bugs and likes/dislikes will be resolved one way or another.

Just to be pedantic, the manual says "18 tum" ( tum is a swedish cooking term for inches.. )

    Hi Phil,

Mine came without handles, do you think the handles with that one are original? If so I wouldn't mind seeing a picture..

    Regards
    Ray

Ray, this one has a stroke length scale from 0 to 460mm - not to be too pedantic - I've seen it

    What he said....

Though if I recall correctly it came out of a school. Further more if I recall correctly the scale may not be factory.
Damn it I should have taken a Melbourne.
