SAM_0555.jpgSAM_0556.jpgSAM_0554.jpgJust a few shaper pics of extra's on my CMZ450.
The first 2 pics show the clapper retract mechanism. The rod ends allow it to operate with the tool head swiveled up to about 20 deg. It only gives me grief when lube oil gets on the SS rubbing strip. For keyslots I lock up the clapper with a grub screw on the operators side of the tool head. The last pic is of the box around the vice. It stops the swarf flying about the shop and fit most jobs. It simply slips under the vice with locating blocks that slide in the tee slots. The panel between the vice and shaper frame just drops in on 2 spigots. Quick to clean it saves a lot of time.
