Well Here Is My Shaper By Popular Demand
First thing first, Its good to see some members here are SFT members, There ain't to many Aussies over there.
Now for the few that have seen this thread over there, YES I did copy and paste Just to save re-typing the whole thing again.
Also I have now had some time to play and have managed to get a half bucket of shaper swarf already so that is a double
I love my new machine and I can see many many jobs for it already..
A friend of a friend lost his uncle recently and was given the task of sorting and cleaning out his shop..
The old boy was a toolmaker engineer by trade and had one hell of a home shop, It was a real eye opener to be invited in to look around. So so much stuff, There was one double door wardrobe in there absolutely chock 'a' block full of metrology gear, I'm talking $1000's of dollars worth..The unfortunant part is all the metrology gear had a new home already, And that suck when one of your passions is collecting it..
Anyways..............
While wandering through the workshop I was informed that one of the machines needed a loving new home, It was apparently the old boys fav machines and it was not to go to just anybody.
Upon inspection of this machine I not only noticed it was one of the only ones I didn't have, But one that I have always wanted, But could never find one in good condition or for a reasonable price..
Well I have to say this thing is in brand new condition, Looks like it has never been used. Now in saying that all his machines were in the same perfectly looked after condition..
This machine also came with all the tooling I will ever need...
NOW the deal with this machine was it had to go to a good loving home with the promise it would not be sold on to make a free profit or be mistreated in any way.. So with this promise sworn on and the hand shaken she was loaded onto the back of the ute and brought home...
So without any more delay............................Here are the PIC"S of my new family member...Warning Disclaimer

mmmmm pretty. Nice pick up.
"Well I have to say this thing is in brand new condition"
Well that makes a nice change to they condition they are normally found in.
I assume the stroke length change is "inside"?
What is the big hex "thingy" sticking out the center of the table? I assume the table is held on with 4 T bolts?

The big hex thingy is like a big lock nut type of thingy. If you loosen it off the table spins around to give you 4 different table tops.
She is a little decieving, As she looks to be a fairly small machine, When I first saw her I thought 6 or maybe 8inch stroke, But to my surprise she is a 10 and a half inch. And yes if you move the round cover on the left side of the machine the stroke length adjustment is there, Nice and easy to use.Warning Disclaimer

The big HEX ( THINGY) is a Bolt rather than a Nut,once you loosen the Bolt and remove the Dowel pin you can rotate the Table.
