Two Shapers Available
A friend has two shapers he would like to sell, a Klopp hydraulic and an Alba Type 2.
I did not get any photos today when I viewed them, but I will get back there later this week to get some.
Both shapers are in use.
Can fellow members advise what details I should obtain to more accurately describe the machines.

Typically the main detail is the stroke length. Other details of interest are the power required (single/ three phase) and the motor size if you can. Other than that it comes down to condition, whether there is a vice with the machines and photos.

PS a rough location too - I've just realised that there are several Kingswoods

Hi all,
Just a quick note that the shaper on ebay closing 8:00 pm tonight in Kingswood is not for sale by me, I don't know the seller, just a coincidence.
I hope to get photos of the two shapers on Thursday.
But the price does set a value.

Photos of the Klopp follow.
What price should the vendor list for opening on ebay ?
The slides are 1300 long and table 1000.
Tool size is 45 x 45.
A magnificent machine, but so big !

The vendor actually has an Alba and a Demco, with one to go.
Originally, the intention was to sell the Alba and keep the Demco as it was obtained from within the family.
But recent advice from an experienced use was to sell the Demco and keep the Alba.
More photos will follow once the decision has been made.
