Sheraton Diploma user feedback needed
any one here use this lathe ? please share your through .
I'm thinking of getting one and wonder how the quality of this lathe really is ?

They are supposed to be ok. I have never used one but I friend of mine bought one a couple of years ago. As far as I'm aware he hasn't got it going yet due to working o/s a lot and renoing the house etc.
I think they have uncommon chuck mounting method though. (I'm really stretching the old memory here so I could be wrong) I think the chuck is mounted on a short taper with bolts going through a flange to hold it in place.
