Because, with all due respect, just because you haven't mentioned that issue doesn't mean it's not important and well worth consideration.

If you don't think so, perhaps you simply haven't given the matter the consideration it needs, and people are trying to do you a favour by mentioning it.

On forums in general, you get the advice that people feel like giving and it's not always (or even often) the advice that you want. Carping about it is pointless and basically ungrateful to the people trying to help.

I'm still perplexed, but I guess I'm just carping and ungrateful. That said, I can't thank you enough for pointing out my rudeness, in future I shall take a leaf from your book, carping and ungrateful are, apparently, polite and courteous terminology. Sounds like you are on the verge of making a decision anyway. When do you think you will pull the trigger on this beast?

I rang General tools today and asked if he could do a better price, surprisingly his reply was 'no I can't, as a matter of fact I have to charge you extra - for freight'. That pretty well made up my mind, tomorrow I'll be picking up the 280x700G from Impala.
