Default T slots in Mill Drill table

I noticed that the current crop of Chinese Mill Drill machines only have 3 'T' slots in the table . Is that a disadvantage compared to the older types which seem to have 5 slots ?

My DM45 only has 3 slots and yes, it can be limiting, particularly with mounting my 6" Vertex Rotary table. However I have worked around it. For other things it hasn't worried me unduly. There are/were 4 slots versions around too.

Likewise the current 6" Vertex RT only has 3 radial mounting slots, would have preferred the older version with 4 slots, but there you go.
