Actually it was cheaper than that.I added on the $53 and for the quote on the buggered one and GST. I made up a puller and changed the belt pulley today and fired up the air compressor .It ran up to pressure with no problems.
The eleccy was made well aware that the motor was intended for the air compressor duty and while the revs are not exactly the same they are close ,while the rest of the specs are pretty much the same.
