Speaking of Planimeters
First off, at this point this is not a "For Sale". If the mods feel that this post is not appropriate here, then please do what you have to do.
The story. With the recent interest in planimeters here on this forum I was reminded of the following.
Here where I work we have approx 14 old planimeters gathering dust in a cupboard. They have not been used for at least 10 years and will never be used again. We are having a bit of a clean up and rather than just chuck these out I thought I'd see if there is any interest from the forum members.
Now we can't just give them away (the whole Gov system is set up in such a manor that they would rather dump stuff then give it away. - long story) and due to the financial system here it might end up that it just gets too hard to do this. So don't hold your breath.
Having said that, I am currently investigating if we can sell these in a legitimate way. I'd rather they go to people who would appreciae them than end up in the dump bin.
Any suggestion as to what would be a fair price each for these?
All of them the foam in the lid of the case has fallen apart and the residue has stuck to the instrument. I have not tried to clean any of them. As far as I know they all should work ok
My apologies for the poor picture quality. I have to reduce them in size a fair bit to get them down to the upload size limit.

Whenever we sell stuff at work it goes by tender. Its generally made known that the item is to be disposed of and anyone interested is able to put in a tender to buy it. Tenders are put in sealed envelope and after the predetermined closing date the person with the highest bid is invited to purchase the item for their bid price. All documented and above board.
Cheers,
Simon
