Starrett Spirit Level
Over the years I've looked at Starrett tools and thought "yep, I'd like one of those", but finances have forced me to move on. The other day I was browsing fleabay and found a brand new 98-8 machinist level which I picked up for a song. These are normally $300 + and I got it for less than 1/3 of that.
Today I notice there is another ad by the same dealer - does anyone know how he is making that price?

It's made in Mass. Athol in the USA as it should be; it's an original, not a knockoff. The only thing I can think of is he somehow bought a bunch at auction or something like that.
