Steam power
This one's for you Phil.
There are some amazing steam videos on You Tube, in particular this one which covers a wide range of steam appliances.

There's another one I found interesting from Thailand. Steam powered rice mill. Note the OHS safety measures in place.

Hi Ken,
I love the Jay Leno ones, only probably watched that one about a 1000 times .
The other one I have never seen before. The best part is watching how other people start a tandem compound engine.
Those guys were clearly not allowed to touch the engine between runs and only got a chance to wipe it down before each run.
I also loved the way they put the main drive belt back on. We do that bit a bit differently at work, instead of tying it on and barring the fly wheel (we have the barring dogs but not the barring gear) we use a bent bit of light rod and turn the engine over.
Great find, thanks heaps.
Phil
