    Default Stephenson's Rockets

An interesting article from 1884 regarding the 1829 and 1830 Rockets.

The Project Gutenberg eBook of Scientific American Supplement, OCTOBER 25, 1884

I have never been a real steam buff but I have always thought the '29 Rocket to be a visual delight. Exposure to the locomotives in Prague has piqued my interest.

    Thanks for this info Bob.
Great reading, & what marvellous expressions in the writing manner of that age.
They had good insights into discovery.
