I use a domestic electrolux , it has a cloth bag , the paper bags are next to useless for swarth , the cloth bags last OK .
You can pick them up at op shops for less than $20 .. if it blows up, go and buy another one Mike

I have an older version of this one
VAX Vacuum Shed / Workshop Wet Dry Vacuum | eBay
You can wash the pleated filter under the tap and it has a very good collector that so far hasn't been affected by anything, including hot coals when I empty out the wood heater!
Paid $25 i na op-shop, best buy for the shed ever.
This is my "go to" vac for metal wotk, use the Aldi one for woodwork.
