Well done Sutton
A couple of weeks ago I posted about having destroyed two tap wrenches trying to tap some very sticky metal from a 4-jaw chuck.
I tried to get a replacement handle for the $90 wrench, only to receive a saying that Sutton don't do spares.
A few days following that email, I saw a post on a facebook metalwork group where someone recommended Sutton tooling, so I chipped in that I was a bit disappointed with Sutton not supplying spare parts for their tools.
A Sutton rep. read the post and private messaged me that he would be happy to supply a replacement F.O.C. even after I explained that my tap & die set was quite old even if it hadn't seen a lot of use. He didn't hesitate, just asked for my address and said it would be dealt with.
Well today, this arrived, very unexpected, but much appreciated and so close to my birthday You don't get a response like that very often, so WELL DONE SUTTON
