Well hello all. I've been a bit quiet the last couple weeks. Been busy gearing up for the silly season. Anyway, I'm sorry it's taken me 3 pages into this thread to welcome you back Dave J!!!!!
I will never forget when I was a new member and lacked any sort of confidence, you helped me no end and always made me feel welcome. So, now it's my turn to return the favour:
WELCOME BACK DAVE J
Cheers,
Simon
Girl, I don't wanna know about your mild-mannered alter ego or anything like that." I mean, you tell me you're, uh, super-mega-ultra-lightning babe? That's all right with me. I'm good. I'm good.

Here I go, 40 degree day here in town, 9.00 p.m I'm sitting out the back, where it cooling down nicely. My 18 y.o daughter has just left in the brides car for gym. She's had her licence for all of 7 days. I'm not going any where until that car rolls back into the garage.
However unapropriate, this seems as good a place as any to ask the question. You did both go M.I.A in the same action.
Whats our policy on bringing Pete F back into the fold? In my opinion we cant leave an Aussie down.
I have no where to go for the next hour and a quarter until that Honda gets back. I'm here to broker a deal.
Its common knowedge you two blokes rub each other the wrong way. But theres been enough water under the bridge. I've meet Pete, several months back, via G.Q, and I feel like I know you Dave. I have alot of time for the pair of you.
You both know how to push each others buttons. Pete's extremely good at it. Him and I have been doing some of our best work over at P.M in the past 48 hours. We even got several likes and a few private messages.
Can we agree to just get along, or just ignore one and other?
Regards Phil.

Agree 100% Phil. (Pete F is around but rarely posting).
I'm in your situation too, appreciating that both have something to offer and would like to see both of them participating in the forum.

Agree Phil, Pete F is/was here tonight, looking at my Mars mods thread when i posted in it. He seems to be keeping up with all the happenings.

Good on ya Dave!
I'm glad your back. I have always enjoyed the projects you posted up!
You always had a way of explaining something in a way anyone could understand.

I was aware that Pete hadn't been banned. And some how Dave was. My best guess is he (Dave) would have done some hot headed thing, like I would have done. I just hit 50 last month. I hope I'm getting wiser with age. However I doubt it.
I havn't spoken to Pete about this. At this stage, lets let it slide that he's free to slide back in, when ever he is comfortable.

I'm certainly not and I've got 10 years on you.
Good thing there isn't a 'dislike' button on PM or my score would be at least 2X my post count.....
I talk with Pete F regularly, he'll do whatever he sees fit. Personally I find that dropping some people into the 'ignore' list saves a lot of useless argument.
