The big and small of it
Talking about big micrometers in the Cary thread made me think about the very small and the very large tools that we use. So for a bit of fun lets have a look at some of the smallish things we use as well as the big end. To get things rolling here are a couple of examples from my shed.
Firstly here are some drills from 1/64" to 1" to 2" to 3" and some taps/dies from 1/8" to 1" to 2" and the biggest are 90mm. The 90mm tap weighs in the order of 3-4kg.

Very impressive Mark, I don't think I have anything to offer in this thread, at least nothing comes to mind at the moment. I doubt that a 14 lb. sledge hammer against a 4 oz. ball pein really stacks up

Big and small
"Now there's something you don't see everyday. One lathe sitting on top of another!!"
You had better keep an eye on those two, They may multiply!

If they only would multiply, I would put 2 of them alone in the basement, turn off the lights and turn on the mood music. Maybe furnish a bottle of good wine. Hope for twins. One would probably be red headed.
