$30 for a linishing belt attachment, good score one of the handiest tools in the workshop me thinks.

i think is going to be great a grabbed 2 just in case. i noticed you had a few belts in your work shop.
do you run your of a grinder

Nice pick up with the $30 belt linisher, as Kraits said, very handy addition to the workshop.

Here's my latest gloat... an Omer Robbins 12" x 6" compound sine table for the surface grinder. Heavy bugger.. 84lbs







I like the USAF name plate, now I need to find an F16 to go with it.

Yep, getting prettier....finished cleaning it up, now I need to find a decent set of gage blocks, I can get by with making on-off's but a standard set would be nice...

Does it never stop...

Sure, sooner or later you run out of either space or money lol
I did see a set of gauge blocks on ebay but they came with two "cages" for clamping the blocks together........ I thought that was a bit of a worry.

My tool gloat for the day is picking up about 70 new Goliath HSS taps from M3 to M12 with some BSW as well.

Well my shed is a little fuller and my wallet a little emptier.
The base is by Federal with a 0.0001" indictor on it.
Whats it for? Not really sure but it looked pretty.

i got a round set of up to 1" on ebay for very little i think less than$10

I'm with Aaron, I would have bought that in an instant, I would think it's a thickness gauge, of course you are going to need gauge blocks to set it up...

hi i called it a belt sander because i couldnt spell linisher.
or maybe spell check cant spell it.
that sine table looks great what did you use to clean it up.

Lanox, and a bit of a light polish, just to clean the crap off the reference faces. It was in pretty good condition anyway, I don't think it's ever been used outside a laboratory, maybe it was only ever used for measuring?

lanox ill have to look it up. i have a feeling its a lanolin preservative spay product.
it was a well done job.
