In the tradition of the best tool makers:
I’ve noticed that all the best tools seem to come in little wooden boxes with strange writings on top. So, in the tradition of the best tool makers, I made up a couple of boxes to contain the tools I’ve made recently.
One is a box for my drill sharpener, the other contains the sharpening jigs for my DIY tangential.
I couldn’t quite replicate the colour of the boxes as the shellac has a slight orange 'tang', but I did manage a reasonable facsimile of the strange writings. Neither the tools nor the boxes are of the same quality, but I think a cursory glance could fool some…
Now when anyone walks into my workshop, they’ll take one look at the little boxes with the strange writings on top and tools within and realize that I do indeed have a discerning eye when it comes to tool selection.
