Trepanning tools for the lathe?
Occasionally I make carburetor adapters for motorcycles. Typically I start with a 80mm diameter 6061 and need to bore out about 50mm. Depth is typically 50mm. Lots of waste. Has anyone made a trepanning tool to core out the centre and would like to share their ideas?
Regards,
Tom
