Hi Has anyone used turcite ? And, is it a difficult substance to apply?
Turcite - Way replacement? Anyone done this?

I had a fellow ask about Wear-Strip material used in machine rebuilding /building down under. It's called Rulon 142 or it is basically the same product as Turcite . I asked my Friend in the States who sells it all over the world. Here is his reply.

I think that reply was from Rich King to R.C or myself. He was going to find out about an Australian supplier for Rulon, and came back with some one in New Zealand. Close enough I guess.
No need to chase that, its available here. Not so cheap, $2 per square inch is rule of thumb. Glues available here.
Is it easy to apply. Did you do paper mache in Preps or grade one? Concept is no different. Prep, glue and apply.
Few tricks to it, but its not rocket science.
