Default Tough Drill Press RPM Table?

Has anyone got an RPM table for thses machines that they would care to share. No idea what the model number is but it is 3 phase and has a GMF Craftsman motor on it if that helps.

not hard to work out ...just need to know motor speed ...usually 1440 or thereabouts

    Measure pulley od diameters

that is all grooves on Motor pulley, intermediate pulley sizes and spindle sizes

    work out placement of belts

and then work out ratios of each arrangement...multiply motor by ratios

    eg motor big step 4"
    intermediate small 2''

    Intermediate big 4"
    spindle small 2"

(use OD where belt travels if belt sit deep inside V)

    therefore 4/2= 2

    assume motor speed 1400
    then 1400 x 2 = 2800 and 2800 x 2 + 5600rpm at spindle

do that for each possible step

Thanks and I know there are also calculators on the web that will do it but I was going the lazy option as I am pretty sure I have seen a printed label on some inside the belt cover.

A cheap non contact digital tachometer from ebay would be the easiest way to measure the speeds, they are also very handy to have around.
