Small UNC/UNF machine screws
Hi all,
Does anyone know where i can get # sized UNC or UNF machine screws? I need some for the Rivett but have come up blank with all the places i could thing of. Small parts and bearings, Reeves in the UK, RS, ebay......
Taps seem to be easy enough to find.
The biggest challenge is i really want slotted Philister or Oval heads.
Any ideas?
Cheers,

I don't know how small you want to go Ew but some hobby shops sell packets of numbered UNF/UNC fixings but usually as socket head cap screws. Try Searles over here - Untitled
If they have something and won't post them I can pick them up and send them off to you.

Tiny Bob. #3,#7 and #12 were the originals used. All slotted.
Hi John, thanks for the links, you must have googled a different phrase from me, but unfortunitely they are all socked head.
I was thinking something along the lines of a model engineers supplies place, but all the ones i have found seem to have BA screws.

Number screws are still in common use in the US. Apart from that I can't offer much help.

Small Screws
Try Keables in A'Beckett St Melbourne.
My experience is if they havent got it you wont get it anywhere.

Was after a few fillister head screws myself recently in 8 and 10/32 for an American machine, the place I tried which usually has everything, said I'd be unlikely to come across anything locally, so I settled for some shcs....as the aesthetics weren't a high priority.
If cheeseheads or pan heads are close enough, I'd imagine they would be available....if the imperfection doesn't eat away at your insides.

Thanks for all the replies guys.
The Spruce airplane place looks good. If not i have found out i can get a range of them from McMaster Carr or this place Micro Fasteners
Johnno, the place you linked "minibearings" is another arm of small parts and bearings. And yes, their website is painful to navigate.
