Yup. As of next year there'll be nowhere to study woodwork in NSW except privately (is how I understand it).

I don't know of any Uni up here except ANU (which isn't NSW anyway). This was apparently an initiative of Fatty O'Barrell, before he got rolled (talk about the world's most expensive bottle of Grange - cost a $everal hundred thousand per year career).

Whilst the one year course at Sturt School is a Cert IV, it's not part of CS Uni - just shares a name. Nor is it listed as one of the CSU campuses. Yes, CSU still offers a winemaking course. I can't recall any NSW Uni ever offering a ww course - there may have been, but I've personally never heard of it. Originally Posted by Big Shed

CLOSING
I can see thesame happening at Yallourn TAFE pretty soon. The Machining dept. has just beenhanging on for some time - they have a few Singapore made Le Blond lathes andchinese copies of Colchesters , all made in the 1980's maybe
