i have just gotten a varnamo 18" shaper and am in the process of disassembling it
there is not much on the internet about this machine but it is fairly straight foreward
the only trouble i am having is removing the larger pulley that has the rubber clutch plate behind it. is there a set screw i am missing or is it supposed to just pull of with a puller? did not want to break it as its hard enough to find the machine let alone parts
any help is appreciated thanks

Hi Todd, and welcome. Ray, the original poster is away right now, but I imagine that he'll be able to chime in sooner or later when he sees this. Did you find yours in Pennsylvania?

Hi Todd,
Welcome to the Varmano club, you'll know you've arrived when you start wandering around the workshop muttering like the Swedish cook in the Muppets....
Have you got this manual? Unfortunately it's in Swedish.... but the diagrams are good.
Regards

Thanks for the link,
Luckily the PO i purchased it from was nice enough to give me 2 copies of it as well as some other literature on the different styles of cutting bits
i have gave up on my attempt to remove the large pulley and the clutch mechanism. the machine was working before i started to disassemble and clean everything so instead of breaking it ill let it be till i have a problem. same with the gearbox the PO had just put new oil in it and rarely used the machine, as well as it has no leaks so i figured i will leave it alone. except for those two assemblies everything else is striped and in the process of being cleaned currently
