WA day luck
Usually when I go to my pile of scrap looking for pieces of steel plate everything is a few mm undersize so I'm forced to cut from a much larger pieces.
This arvo I needed a few pieces to make a motor bracket and the two mains pieces I needed were 200 x 250 x 6 and 200 x 280 x 5 or 6.
I quickly found the first piece to the mm while the the second piece took a bit of hunting but I found a piece that was 200 x 300 x 5.
That's probably my luck for the year but I'll take it.
