Waldown 8SN info request
I have a Type IV version of Waldown's 8SN drill press. It's a basic machine.
I'd like to have some drawings for it, especially general arrangement.
Waldown's website only has a manual for model 3M belt driven drill.
Were drawings for the 8SN ever available?

By the way, a reason I wanted the drawing is to find out if the Morse taper spindle extension on the spindle was a separate part.
It's not. There are 2 different spindles options - one with a chuck taper, the other with a MT2 socket.

I have the MT2 spindle with the short benchtop drill press.
Only one disadvantage: the MT2 spindle is 4" longer, reducing the maximum distance from chuck to tabletop by these 4".
On the other hand:
- one can use drills and reamers with MT1 (with an adaptor sleeve) and MT2 shaft.
- it is much easier to swap between different size/type of drill chucks.
- one is not limited to a chuck with a particular type of taper mount.
All up, the MT2 spindle is much more versatile and in my opinion more desirable.
PS: thanks for posting the drawing. I did not know these still existed.
