I have an A33 on the front and A27 on the back. Now, the reason I was able to get my drill for the ridiculous price I did was that someone had put on belts that were too tight, it over stressed the motor shaft and so broke. There is a replacement motor on there so the A26 could be correct for an original motor. I have also heard of people intentionally leaving their drill press belts on the loose side so that if a bit grabs and jams in a hole there is effectively a clutch (in the form of a belt slipping) to prevent worse things happening.
V belts are not terribly expensive in the overall scheme of things so you might want to get say an A33 or A34 for the front but be mindful that you might have to swap around a couple of sizes to get a good fit

The first photo shows the Workmax belts which I imagine are the same as those on an 8SN. The other photos are of the 3M's belts. It might be better off with an A33 like Michael's?
