    What a great collection of photos!!!! They are all a "work of art" in their own right. Its also a great collection showing what had to be done to win the war. I wonder if that spirit of patriotism would still be there with 20 year olds of today? I think too that it was a wake up call to see women doing traditional work of men.
    At the tender age of 20 ( in 1941) my mother went into the Land Army to do"her bit". She was a sewing machinist at a slipper factory in Sydney then worked all over NSW and Queensland picking all kinds of fruit and vegetables and even cotton in Biloela with the Land Army
    Just do it!
