Hi BT,

At least on the cheap ones the loupes do seem to pivot up, though how well that works is anyones guess. I may even be able to fit it to my glasses.(which could be good as I seem to have a master eye problem.. I dont seem to have one, which is I think the reason I get headaches real quick if things arent spot on)
The problem with my current visor(a cheapie) is that at 3.5X its focal length is about 80mm.
I'll let you know in a couple of weeks, just pulled the trigger on one.

I like the boom set up, Kitty cam has fixed height arm. I spent some time this evening trying to flip it upsidedown but it doesnt want to play. it would work much better if I took a hacksaw to it but I cant bring myself to do that.
A problem with "straight through" scopes is how high you will need to be above the spindle so if you find yourself with a choice take the 45 degree one.

Must have a different standard of garage sell around metalmans place!

Now who needs their watch fixed?
