What's it worth?
A Starrett 98-8 level in what appears to be (to me anyway) excellent condition. In it's original cardboard box. Got it quite a while ago but maybe I don't need it. Never used it yet anyway. Anything in particular to look at regarding condition to make sure it works as it should?

I paid $80 for a 6" one last year from the states. It was truly mint. I guess the 8" would be worth a bit more. You can check it by reversal. If it reads the same both ways it's adjusted correctly. But no problem if it's a little out. You (a buyer) should always check/adjust before use anyway.
