wheels
Now this thread has shown that I am not the only body who has to move machinery. I have to move a Sheridan Defiance lathe. This machine was featured on page 2 of the sales page of this site. it is quite a robust machine. My solution was to get 4 pieces of 4 x 4 angle weld ends on them to take heavy castors. there is bracing to strengthen the angle. Two at each end and clamp them together with 1 inch all thread. This is to happen in the next few weeks. There is also an Arno Mill to come at the same time. I had occasion to work the Arno last weekend and it was like heaven on a stick. The Arno mills are an Italian machine imported by Demco in Melbourne to try and take some of the market share off Macphersons. They sold for 2.500 pounds and went mainly into schools. I know of at least one other Arno have any others survived. Yours 4-6-4

Sounds like you have some good machines coming, don't forget some pictures.
I wouldn't recommend my setup for moving it on anything but smooth concrete, if it was doing anything else I would use larger wheels and frames.
