SAM_0639.jpgHello from BC.
This pic shows some new wheels I got in this week for tool grinding. The selection available has shrunk over the years as usage has dwindled. So I looked in other catagories.
The 2 pink wheels are chainsaw sharpening jobbies. Ruby alox and I suspect a bit hard, also 80 grit. The 22mm center means only for use on the Clarkson unless I make extension shafts. These I will try for tap flute grinding and they are supplied with a radius face.
The white alox wheel is 150 X 6mm 38A60 and multibushed down from 31.75mm. I'll try this wheel on tap chamfer grinding. The Clarkson runs out of room for the tap grinder with a 100mm wheel.
On the right there is a diamond plated wheel for steel cutting using an angle grinder and a Ceramic SS finishing wheel. I'll give these a go for gashing cutters.
All the wheels where well priced I thought. Notice the arrows to show this way up when mounting the wheel.
Regards
BC
