Whisperingsteam
Found these two of a small pumping station in the North of England not far from where I was born.
While both video's are of the same thing they are different views of the small pump Tees Cottage Pumping Station - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Victorian Steam Era.
Thanks to Wheelinround for posting the videos of the beam engines and pumps. Those Victorian engineers produced things of beauty and utility.
Have just returned from 3 weeks on a tour of Britain's industrial heritage, and I am in awe of the effort of many volunteers who operate and maintain these working museums for us all to enjoy and marvel at. Just hope and trust that another generation will feel moved to learn the skills needed when these folk finally pass on.
Our tour included 2 days and an evening at Great Dorset Steam Fair, 600 acres of it to overdose on. Two weeks would not be enough to see it all.
If any member wants a recommendation for a top rate tour, just PM me for details. No commercial interest, just a happy customer. Regards, Combustor.Old iron in the Outback, Kimberley WA.
