As for the beer, if you don't want them, give them to someone who does.

I'd be happy to host one, I'm in the middle of reno and moving at the moment so it might be a year or two down the track. I might have learnt how to tidy up by then.....
All good. I also scored what seems to be a very nice bottle of Rutherglen Muscat! Un-intentional of course!

ps Phil, after seeing your Trammel set I was close to spending more money on a nice Starrett set, but yesterday, polished up the old set I already have. Dont use Trammels a great lot these days.
    Hi Bruce,
Any thoughts from scrapers and forum members would be appreciated.
Great to hear of the ressurection of the trammells. When I have a moment I will be making the attachments that should go with mine and I hope to use it a lot more.
It sounds like I am being groomed as the next host for the barbie .
Sadly, or probably not so sadly for some, I am about to start organising the reunion of the first scraping class. I am wondering if I should include the second scraping class as well. I will be trying to organise Sovereign Hill as hosts for the weekend and If I do that, then at least you and Bob will have to travel to the mighty Vic. twice in a short time span for the barbie and the reunion. Also, and this sounds a bit mean, but it is only for scraping class members and yet the barbie is open to all forum members.
Would you blokes be able to travel twice as I wouldn't want to stop the organising of another barbie close to a reunion that is restricted to the scrapers or am I just overthinking all of this.

    Phil

ps The reunion will be in November sometime

Given that I'm a second 'fest attendee, I'd fly over if you extended the invitation to those of us at the April gathering.

Bruce "caravan will travel" Smith would be there too 'cos he only lives around the corner.

Hi simonl, I'm a bit too far away to go to the barbie, but I've been following the replies with interest. after your last post (if I'm quick enough) I would be interested about the Muscat. Does it have "Muscat DP33" on the label? If so I might have to drive to get some. That's the BEST Muscat ever bottled. There is none in S.A. that I can find as I bought the last 13 bottles. All gone now As for metalwork content, I use it for lubrication
