I notice out dog curling up into smaller and tighter balls when he sleeps. Must be an indication.

Yours to? yes it must me a sign.

You cant come to my shed, as Greg can attest to....... I'd have to take you on guided tours one at a time and even then I'd be afraid of losing one of you. I guess I could tie a rope around your waist before you went in, at least that way I could find the body. . I'm working on it, really I am...... but then I go and buy more stuff or you lot have me pulling my lathe to pieces

    Nice recce phil!

Sounds and looks like a great venue. Still keen for a traveling shed BBQ at peoples places but lets start with this one. Now we need to organise a date. I know I'm not going to please everyone but if I give everyone a couple months notice then surely we have the best chance to maximise numbers. A Saturday or Sunday is a given,

How about Sunday 15th July. 12pm onwards at above location?

If this BBQ things becomes a fixture then it would be great to have it move around the country. in fact in would only be fair to impose on our interstate guys too!

    Love a road trip!

I too love a road trip
I have been known to drive to Adelaide or Sydney for a $100 Ebay purchase
But a day trip to Raat (5 hours) with 4 kids ranging from 5 to 15 is one hell of an ask..lollol

Although I may miss this BBQ I am sure there will be another I can and will attend one day.
If I had already moved and settled in to my new place in Dimboola we would have been there for sure..
I wish your BBQ well and hope the weather holds out for you all..

Keep sending your replies and ideas/comments. I'm going AWOL monday - friday as I'm staying in a cottage at Joanna beach for 5 days with the fam.

I may reply on my phone but that gives me no end of frustration doing things that way.

    Cheers all,

    Simon

OK, I vote for visiting Simon's place, check out his shed and dog, have a barbie and a cold one or two and maybe even a bonfire..... That makes it easier for the Gippsland crew and is no hardship for Bendigo or Geelong participants. The only extra travel if for Steamwhisperer - this time. next time we go and visit his shed....

I'm easy. I'll even travel interstate. Harty and jayson will have further to travel if they come.

Good to see you joining in John.
As you know we have a shed thread as well as a lathe and mill thread, feel free to post up about your machines if you have some.
