    Michael,

    I imagine 12 feeds = 12 buttons? I just had a look at a few Sajo UF52 photos. The Swede makes my 13 look undernourished!

    Whilst the drawing is dated '58 there is another pencilled date of 1962 on a page in the instructions. I would think that the document is too recent to be of any use.

    No, sorry those are too new. I must admit that I am intrigued as to when this head was made. It has no obvious WW2 markings on it (as might be expected if made then) but 1958 is too late as the model has changed. Wohlhaupter in Germany have no record of this model, but that could be related to WW2 as well if it were pre war.

    I did consider a 13 at one stage but the unit I looked at did not have a universal table that could feed the right way for helical gearing. (Apparently it is a special for the Schaublin machines). The only thing I sometimes wish I had was a quill head but that's not a pressing need - I'll make one one day.
