Default Wonders of the clockwork world

Saw this on SBS on demand last night.

SBS On Demand | TV and Online Video - Wonders Of The Clockwork World

    Truly awesome video about automaton.

    Highly recommend it.

Thanks for the link. Interesting video even if I think some of the links are a little tenuous.
Watches have amazed me for years.

He did draw some very long bows.

When he said the automatons turned against their masters I was immediately thought of ATM's leading the charge.

I always thought it was the coke can machine's that would be the first to revolt....

Maybe he has been watching to much Dr Who...think Madame de Pompadour.

    Interesting show though.

One bit that was fascinating, was how did they make the tiny dies that cut the tiny metal screws.

Yes I could have done with more of that sort of detail and less grandiose waffle.
