I was curious enough to ring Gundrill, Australian importers of the magnetic wands that I bought mine from.
They are out of stock, and had no plans to get more due to slow sales.
However, they are going to see how much they could be sold for if brought in again. I'll let you know if they get back to me.
Info from Gundrill:
They are China made.
Confirmation that they are not suitable for normal postage, because of hazardous goods issue with strong magnets.
If ordered tomorrow, it'd take up to 10 weeks before they landed by ship.
The price would be higher than what I paid. Lucky me got one at old stock prices, and magnets are dearer now.
Sounds like the only practical way to buy them in Australia is from a local reseller.
Could always make your own? It's not a complex thing.
Just found out that a Oz made product called Wonder Wand is available from BOC outlets, pricey.
