The best advantage of the enclosure is I can wash down the table and machine with coolant. I have a swarf trap so no problems will filling the coolant tank with it.
The doors are plexiglass.

Guys I just had three goes at trying to Post the photos and everytime it failed. I kept getting basically this Message 'a security token is missing' .

My Computer Operating System is Windows 7 Home Premium - 32bit. I have been able to Post Multiple Photos before, but for some reason I can't now.

A quick and easy picture resizing program for win7 is Image Resizer for Windows

find the picture you want to resize, then right click it and choose the resize option..

I just use the forums album and the forum resizes the pics for you. I havent had any issues yet. Go to user cp, then Pictures & Albums and then create a new album.

Finally here is My Shed. I tried to download that Program RC but My Antivirus (Cloud Panda) wouldn't let Me, thanks anyway though. Thankyou Ueee I wasn't aware of the Album section or had forgotten about it. I ended up using AVS Image Converter to do the Resizing.

Thats a nice old chest your using for tooling, do you know its origins? I nearly scored some geological sample chests a few years back, but missed out, your chest reminds me of them.

Yeah it is a Mess, but not to Messy at the moment. When the Shed was Built, I put Sisalation in the Roof straight away. I used some Wire Mesh on the inside of the Shed under the Sisalation to prevent it from Sagging. I put two Fibreglass Sheets in the Roof when it went on, but last Summer I found it was getting to Hot be able to Work in the Shed. Late last Year I got one of My Nephews to put two Whirly Vents in the Roof - they made a big difference over the recent Summer period.
I have just recently Painted the underside of the Fibreglass Sheets with Chrome Paint to make it Cooler still. The Internal Wall which is on the inside left hand front and right along the left hand side also has Sisalation behind it. The Shed is now quite Comfortable to Work in when its Hot outside now.

The Toolbox is Nice, but its not old its just a Kincrome Wooden Tool Chest https://www.alltools.com.au/shop/ind...d_Construction I didn't Pay that much though. I think it was only about $150.00 they were on Special at Mitre 10. Keep an eye out on Ebay for Wooden Tool Chests, sometimes 'Gerstner' ones come up at Good prices even from USA with Postage. Just a Tip Ueee when You search look for: engineers tool chest, machinist tool chest, wooden tool chest and also toolmakers tool chest.

The missus and I have been visited by Autism. Our first born son was more than anyone could deal with and we have put him into full time care. My workshop has become an example of the decay and despair felt by many parents who have disabled children. A child with profound Autism is a 24/7 job which quickly gets the better of you, especially if you have other children to look after as well.

It also hasn't helped that we have decided to move, so sadly, a lot have crap has been thrown in here while I renovate the old house for sale. We have purchased 1.3 acres which means I can have a bigger shed. We are partly moving because of this reason- also, we can carve off a huge amount off our mortgage, and there are a few bad memories here for us.

Don't get me wrong- despite our setbacks, I have had a lot of fun here, and although some projects (eg the cars) have stagnated they haven't been left outside to rot. They have been put in a time capsule that will be opened when the motivation and resources are available to return them to their glory- and that point is not far away.

The blue one is a fully rebuilt HK 4 door, still registered, needs a few niggles ironed out. The one at the back is a factory RHD 1966 Chevy Belair, yet to be tickled. Don't ask.... not for sale!

Herless bench drill- was a gift (strange gift, needs work, chuck falls out if you try to drill too large a hole) which I made a base out of pipe to turn into a pedestal drill. Schnieder Electric switchboard cabinet, found in scrap bin at one of my workplaces, (thrown out because it was the wrong colour) now converted to cabinet for Kincrome tool set, and home made shop press with ram made to work upside down (!)

pedal operated sink... for washing home brew bottles and washing greasy hands without getting grease on tap handles. All home made with 1/2" ball valves with custom levers and extension springs, works a treat and never leaks.

Fair amount of crap here, but also many diamonds in the rough as well. I've watched that TV show 'Hoarders' too.... there is a lot of stuff here that is not worth hanging on to, and I am becoming very ruthless.

This shed is 18 x 9 m, and is just not big enough, and I really need one maybe 3 or 4 times bigger. The new place already has a shed this size (somewhat more slapdash and agricultural in construction) and has two turret lathes, a Cincinatti 3U and a surface grinder already.

How do I come about all this gear? I've always been a home brewer- if you buy a slab a week, and made home brew instead, you could save at least $40 a week. Second, I take advantage of opportunities as as they arise. Third- I buy machines at scrap value and fix'em up.

Maybe in a year or so I will post new photos of the new shed, and we can compare 'before and after'.

PS There will be a nice shed for sale in the Frankston area (Vic), 18 x 9m, with office, 3 phase power and rear access, comes with fully renovated house. Possibly on the market early Spring. Will keep you posted.
