I did too with my dad on his building sites, plus we used to spray dieldrin, lindane and chlordane ourselves in the 1970's. DDT was safe ....

The MSDS only lists the recommended exposure limits for soft wood sawdust ie 5mg/m^3 - the blue additive is not mentioned.

This is an 50 year old standard "borrowed" from the Brits. It says nothing about particle size and the fact that PM2.5 is the 5th leading cause of death in the world, and the PM2.5 levels are what should be concerning us. If your DC system is working properly I'd suggest you should not have a problem with the additive.

And it did not kill Rustynail, which proves there is nothing to fear.

Not yet. But hey, the day's not over yet and anything can happen before knockoff time.
