The curse of sheddie

Whew I thought you were gonna say something like
"I done a Dingo today"

and show a bloody gaping wound... okay so "doing a sheddie" is to drop something and break a bone right? preferably an ankle but any bone will be a good substitute... and "doing a dingo" is to cut hack drill or otherwise slice dice and chomp a bodily extention right?

Just so were clear that is

Oh and not having broken any bones (other than my pinky finger in Derby bein a smartass openin several stubbies at once while riding a damned horse... coulda been worse ) But having much expertise at the searing pain and agony produced by the slash and dice method I will just say

Hope it gets well soon mate... and heres hoping its just BADLY bruised and not busted... well not too bad anyways

Sheddie, have you tried using the lambs wool buff on the 150/3 and massaging in some voltarin or deep heat

Keep the thing up and ice it as Pat said.

I don't suppose you've thought of getting an X-ray done - wonderful new technology which will show if the bone is busted. I think the machine has made its way to Tassie......

Look after yourself (and see if exSWMBO will bring a couple of your festools into the house so you can stroke them like cats) and get well.

I'm home alone so I get the rest, the compression and the elevation ok. But for the ice I just kick the doona off for half an hour then back on. Its cold here at the moment. I'm also gently flexing the ankle while i'm laying down and it seems to be freeing up a bit. Still painful but hopefully nothings broken - could be chipped though. Guess I'll have a better idea by Sunday. If its only soft tissue then it should be a lot better by then else its off to the ortho (again - those buggers love to inflict pain ).

It was dark wet and late and if they heard me it was more like ARRRGHHHHH. ARRRGGGGHHHH. ARGGHHHHHHH. ad nauseum
