Default Anyone used these ear defenders?

These muffs have a class 5 rating, claim a 35db noise reduction & are half the price of the 3M Peltor Extreme H10:

From the colour design it looks like they are targeting the 3M buyer!

I would be interested to hear from anyone who has bought them & can comment on the comfort & quality.

They look the same as the Peltor 10 series muffs.
If so I have 3 pairs and have had mine for about 16 years and have even worn them on planes.
I got these because 15 years ago they were amongst the best and already have partial hearing loss and I wanted to protect what remaining hearing I have left.
There has not been much improvement in ear muffs since then largely because it's very difficult to reduce noise exposure using ear muffs because the noise bypasses the muffs and is conducted into the inner ear by the skull bones.

Claims of reducing noise by more than 35dB using muffs or ear plugs re bogs. To get more protection than this you have to wear a deep sea divers helmet.

Anyway I have found them very effective. A recent hearing test shows that apart from still having significant loss around the 4kHz region (according to the audiologist too much 70's rock music exposure) the rest of my hearing is about average for my age. This means in between when I had tests 15 years ago I have successfully protected what hearing I had left while my peers have continued to degenerated

The only situation where they don't cut enough noise for my liking is when Chainsaw milling (116dB) so I use them plus ear buds.
    BUT
The Peltors work so well because they have a relatively high side pressure.
There's no way around this as noise will easily leak in from a low side pressure muff.

It depends in your head size and shape but I can wear them for about 30 minutes before I need a break from using them. Just a few minutes is usually enough for me and them I can wear them for another ~30 minutes.

The Peltors are excellent ... and they are cheap enough not to go looking for cheaper imitations! Get the Peltors.

No; definitely Essendon colours. The Collingwood army will boycott them.
