Even a short ride in an ambulance can make your eyes water when the bill arrives. Once you get the bureaucracy involved even a minor accident can become a financial nightmare.

When SWMBO came off her horse we winced at the cost of the Ambo - it was two trips - one to the nearest hospital that was not prepared to take he in and then a transfer to another hospital. HBF covered some of it but it was still fairly eyewatering.

    and probably not particularly legal.

"fee paying student(s)" would involve WorkCover

Food for thought and worth following this story if you are involved in Men's Shed or any other not for profit that facilitates hands on access to workshop machinery and tools.
I wonder if it will be another "Townsville Gymnasium"

    Default Safety Poster

I remember a safety poster showing a gory bare foot in a broken thong - with the words - The thong is ended but the malady lingers on!

Just a heads up here on costs, anyone who is a senior citizen in NSW gets a free ride if an ambulance is needed.
