    Default Paraquat death

    Noticed on the news tonight that a farmer has died a very slow death from skin exposure to the weed killer paraquat after a spray system malfunctioned.

    Search "Lethal weeds destroys Queensland farm" on Nine News Brisbane.

    Not exactly slow, it took 24 very painful hours whilst his whole system shut down.

    AND it is banned in most countries whilst in others it can only be used by qualified people wearing proper protective gear. Even China has banned it and they are usually far behind other countries.

    They said on the news last nigh that just 2 or 3 drops can kill a person.
    What a horrible death.
