Within reason I suppose it depends to a certain extent what exactly you may be doing.

I mainly do woodturning with mine, but I also wear it whenever I'm doing anything remotely dusty, or when using the tablesaw, bandsaw etc.

Quite light, battery lasts a long time. I bought mine in 2018 and about two months ago replaced the battery. Fairly heavy use at times, but in general I would have it on for around 3 hours a day when in the shed maximum. The battery is situated at the rear, the battery is 14W and will do a day of work. That said I would suggest you put it on the charger during a meal break if you are running it all day; or get a spare battery.

This unit is also a head protector, meaning if something drops on your head, you'll have some protection as there is a hard something underneath the cloth exterior.

It's well balanced and the airflow is strong enough to dry your lips, requiring a chap stick of some kind. The airflow is from above your eyes and goes down. I wear mine with glasses and its comfortable.

    Default Full face respirater

Hi Mick ,thanks for your detailed reply..recently diagnosed with pneumonia, which I really believe was related to excessive dust inhalation from the shed..I am recovering now but intend to be a whole lot more health conscious in the future . Warning to all woodworkers … mask up ,save your lungs .
